Samsara
Invests £1 million |
Samsara announces
investment of over £1 million in
supporting clients cost reduction initiatives.
After many years of discussion
and development Samsara are pleased to
announce the development of a client-specific
e-procurement system that enables collaborative
buying for the Samsara client base.
The system is the result
of client requests to help them reduce
costs, improve their buying processes,
reduce casual buying, enable greater centralised
controls and enable complete integration
with their back-end systems.
In order to ensure cost
reductions, Samsara has created unique
alliances through which literally tens
of billions of dollars are spent annually,
worldwide. With this buying power in place,
the supplier base is able to reduce its
margins, as they are guaranteed the huge
volumes that will be placed through the
alliance partnerships.
All other client requests
are undertaken via the Samsara unique
e-procurement system. At a cost of more
than £1 million, the system has
been developed to be able to handle any
manner of business buying requirements
and enable control down to the lowest
level, reducing costs and process costs
by up to 65%.
The results are quite
frankly astounding, even for Samara's
large clients. With an average cost saving
of 12% on products alone, clients are
also saving on reduced or eliminated rogue/casual
spending and process improvement. |
